Chairman's Circle
The Henry County Chamber offers a hybrid membership. A traditional dues structure based on employee count can get you introduced to the benefits of membership. One additional benefit of this method is that every employee counted in the dues investment is a member of the Chamber. Everyone can take advantage of the resources and programs as it fits their roles and interests.
Central Georgia EMC
You are the cooperative!
The power of community is what being an electric cooperative is all about.
You might think of us as the local electric company, and you’d be right: We’re led by members like you, created by and for the communities we serve. Electric cooperatives are community-focused organizations who work to deliver affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy to our members.
As the explanation of a Cooperative implies, Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation receives purpose and legitimacy from two different directions. First, the State of Georgia passed laws which allow Central Georgia EMC to incorporate as a Cooperative. This state activity provided the charter which enabled the customer-owners to form Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation. Second, the Board of Directors exercises democratic control, as authorized by the membership.

Snapping Shoals EMC
Snapping Shoals EMC has been serving this area for over 80 years, and during that time has built a strong reputation for providing reliable power and excellent customer service. Our roots go back to the 1930s and the early days of America's rural electrification. In those days, just trying to bring power to rural areas was a major undertaking.
Today, Snapping Shoals serves some of the fastest-growing areas in our nation, and most of our once-rural service territory is now part of metro Atlanta. The co-op currently provides electricity to approximately 100,000 homes, businesses and other facilities in an eight-county area that includes large portions of Newton, Henry and Rockdale counties as well as parts of DeKalb, Butts, Walton, Jasper and Morgan counties.
