The Women's Leadership Council awards the Scholarship for Young Women annually during the Women's EmPOWERment Summit held in March during National Women's History Month. The scholarships increased from two $500 scholarships to two $1000 scholarships in 2025.

Join us for the Seventh Annual Women's EmPOWERment Summit, March 6, 2025, where we celebrate the theme Empower Your Path and Rise. Presented by the Women's Leadership Council, this day is dedicated to honoring the achievements of women from all walks of life—across borders, cultures, and experiences. Plan to gather with us to recognize the strength, resilience, and contributions of women, breaking down barriers without regard to divisions or differences.
We are especially excited to welcome our keynote speaker, Tiffany Willis, CPA, the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at Starbucks. Tiffany is a dynamic storyteller and leader, known for her engaging communication style and passion for sharing insights. She recently inspired many as the commencement speaker for Emory University's Goizueta Master Diploma Ceremony. With an impressive career journey that spans senior roles at Ingredion Incorporated, Fiserv, Time Warner, and EY, Tiffany's leadership and vision continue to leave a lasting impact on the financial world.

2025 EmPOWER Her EXPO — An Oasis of Quality Goods & Services
According to follow-up surveys, the EXPO is a very popular feature during the Summit which attracts 125-150 women business leaders. The EXPO takes place on the lower level in the MMCC large conference room while the Summit takes place upstairs in the main conference room. The EXPO begins at 8 AM, the Summit begins at 9 AM , with Summit check-in from 8 AM – 9 AM. The Summit will have multiple long breaks including an hour during lunch time when the women will be encouraged to go and patronize the EXPO.
EXPO registration is currently open on a first come, first served basis. Secure your spot today!
Additional EXPO details include:
- Load-In:Â Upon arrival, Exhibitors enter through the patio door on the lower level facing the parking lot.
- Set-Up:Â 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM
- Each Exhibit Includes:Â One (1) 6' table and two (2) chairs
Vendors are requested to be complete with set-up by 8:00 AM and ready to receive customers.
Staffing: Each vendor may have up to two (2) individuals on site to staff their exhibit. Names of your staff members must be submitted by Tuesday, March 1, by email to Barbara Ingram, bingram@henrycounty.com.
Two EXPO staff members will receive lunch on site. EXPO Staff members are not permitted to attend the Women’s EmPOWERment Summit sessions without a Summit ticket.
